Shiruken or ninja star

The Shuriken 手裏 剣 means "blade hidden in the hand". It is a traditional Japanese throwing weapon that was used by Ninjas.

This projectile is a training material for the practice of Ninjutsu. Often used in throwing to hit a target and melee as a handgun using the sharp end as a knife.

Shuriken were used to distract, injure an opponent, or used as a tool.
