T10 Bo-hi blade with Choji hamon
Nagasa (Blade length from the Tsuba): ~ 73.5 cm.
Sori (Curvature): approx 2.1cm.
Moto-Kasane (Base thickness): approximately 7.5 mm.
Blade Finish: Mirror
Saki- Kasane (Tip thickness): about 5 mm.
Saki-Haba (Width at the tip): about 26 mm.
Moto-Haba (Width at the base): approximately 32 mm.
Balance point (measured from the tsuba): ~ 14 cm.
Nakago (blade tang) finely worked
Fuchi-Kashira (Knob): black coated alloy
Tsuka (Handle): Wood, suitable for silk. Length 27 cm
Tsuka-ito (Fabric around handle): Dark Japanese blue.
Same: Real ray skin, Black.
2 Menuki: Copper. One on each side, mounted in the traditional way.
Habaki: Polished copper.
Seppa: Polished copper.
1 Mekugi: Bamboo wood, Assembly according to traditional methods.
Tsuba (Guard): Mokko Alloy
Saya (Scabbard): Solid black exotic wood with finely glittery lacquer. Curved according to the Sori of the blade. The Koi-guchi, kurikata and kogiri is made of buffalo horn.
