Oni Higonokami
Reference :
KDB100O
The construction of a traditional Higonokami knife is very straightforward. The handle is made from a single piece, often in brass or stainless steel, with a double fold to create its distinctive shape. Thanks to this simple yet effective construction, Higonokami knives are quite affordable.
What sets these knives apart is their lack of a locking mechanism. The thumb rest (chikiri) and the friction of the hinge screw against the handle keep the knife securely open during use. This also prevents accidental opening, classifying these pocket knives as "friction folders." Their reverse tanto-style blade, highly pointed, is also specific to these models.
Caracteristic:
Brass handle with engraving
Blade length: 8cm
