Katana Sharpening kit
Reference :
KITAFFUKAT
We created this sharpening kit for katana, to allow you to bring the edge of your sword back to life.
This requires patience and thoroughness.
Before you start sharpening your blade, let the stones soak for a few minutes in water, you will need to wet them again while you do the work, the watering pear included in the kit will help you with this.
The stones and the sandpaper must always be wet, this allows to remove the residues related to the friction of the stone on the blade.
Start your sharpening with the 1000 grit stone, it will help you to roughen the work.
Then switch to the 3000 grit stone, little by little your cutting edge comes back to life.
The 6000 grit stone will allow you to refine your edge.
For a nice finish, the 7000 sandpaper will be your ally, it will erase any traces left by the stones.
This kit includes:
- A double stone 1000/6000
- A single 3000 stone
- A sheet of 7000 grit sandpaper
- A sharpening guide
- A watering pear
