This maintenance kit is specifically designed to care for your Iaito or Shinken. It includes Choji Abura oil, derived from Japanese cloves, ideal for nourishing the Saya of the Iaito and protecting the Shinken blade. Additionally, it features an Uchiko ball containing chalk powder, essential for steel blade maintenance (to be avoided on Japanese alloy Iaito blades to prevent scratching). The third element in this box is Nuguigami, a special paper designed to remove excess oil. For Shinken, it can also be used with Uchiko powder. This kit provides you with the essential tools to keep your Japanese swords in perfect condition. All presented in a Paulownia wood presentation box.
