Higonokami Bonsai Mokuzai Damascus

The Higonokami is originally from Miki Province, Hyōgo Prefecture, where it was created in 1896 by Japanese blacksmiths in search of a commercial substitute for the samurai swords whose decline was the result of reforms initiated at the end. 19th century by Emperor Meiji.
